In the afternoon, explore two of Lima’s most important neighborhoods by joining our bicycle tour. Wander through lovely streets and alleys in Miraflores and San Isidro, stop outside a pre-Incan archaeological site, see the ancient field of olives and the eclectic architecture of the business and residential areas of San Isidro. Finally, cycle on the edge of the famous cliffs of the Malecon of Miraflores taking in breath-taking views of the Pacific Ocean. Take a break and have a typical snack to reenergize yourself. In the morning, transfer from your hotel to the airport and fly to Cusco. Arrive in the ancient city of the Incas and transfer to your hotel in Urubamba where the elevation is lower. On route observe the surreal views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes of the Sacred Valley driving along the Vilcanota River. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize to the altitude. After a delicious breakfast, we depart your hotel to start the adventure of mountain biking. We will have a safety briefing and receive our equipment. Then begin cycling on dirt roads and mountain trails admiring the spectacular views. Arrive in Moray the circular depressions where you will observe the terrific site and take some pictures. We will sit in nature and enjoy a box lunch. Continue riding down to the Maras salt ponds to explore the ponds spread out in front of you. The salt is still gathered by hand without using machinery. After a great time, we continue the thrill cycling downhill to the banks of the Urubamba River. Our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

In the morning we will travel to Pachar for a thrilling time. We will receive a safety briefing, our equipment and a brief practice in the river. Feel the adrenaline while rafting on the waters admiring the Andes Mountains and landscapes. Finish experiencing “El Resbaladero” (The Slide), a strong class 3 rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools. Wow, after a great time we will have lunch in a traditional restaurant located on the riverside, owned by a local community. A terrific day full of adventure and culture. Return to your hotel.

In the morning we will drive to the Ollantaytambo station to board our train for a scenic ride to Km 104. Disembark and present your passports at the check point before starting our fantastic hike of about 6 to 7 hours. At the start of our hike, we will visit the ruins of Chachabamba and then a moderate climb into the cloud forest. Enjoy the lush scenery with orchids and beautiful fauna. After a couple of hours, we arrive at the Wiñaywayna Inca ruins overlooking the Urubamba River. This is an impressive complex dedicated to agriculture with numerous terraces, irrigation system and splendid temple. The trek continues along spectacular scenery passing snow peaks and the surrounding cloud forest until arriving at Inti Punku (Sun Gate) where we will catch the first magnificent site of Machu Picchu below. Take some pictures before descending to Machu Picchu. Walk to the bus stop and take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes to spend the night.

A splendid morning visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World awaits you. Ride the shuttle bus up to the Mystical Machu Picchu to revel in a private guided tour of the “Lost city of the Incas”. Enjoy a historical tour admiring the genius architecture of the temples, Andean terraces and prayer houses surrounded by spectacular panoramic views of the mountains descending to the Urubamba River and jungle. After an amazing time experiencing the past return to town and enjoy a delicious lunch. Board the train to the Ollantaytambo, Poroy or Cusco station. Transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

The morning begins with a stroll through the bohemian district of San Blas, famous for its attractive narrow streets, its cozy square, ateliers and art shops. Walk to the Hatunrumiyoc street to admire the twelve-angle stone and maybe a picture with the Inca. We continue our walk to the Plaza de Armas (main square), visit the Cathedral with its famous paintings by the Cusco school and beautiful alters and wood carvings. Stroll to the Qoricancha Sun Temple, a Sacred Inca building which had walls covered in gold during the Inca era. Finally, a visit to the San Pedro Market, the most popular market where the locals shop, offering a great cultural experience. Rest of the day (afternoon) at leisure.

In the morning, transfer to the Esteves island for a safety briefing, instructions and receive your equipment. Then a fantastic time kayaking for about an hour to the floating islands of Uros on the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca admiring the flora and fauna. Tour the island of Uros, where the ancient inhabitants build their islands, houses and boats from totora reeds. We board our boat for a ride of about 2 hours to the island of Taquile with approximately 2,500 inhabitants. The Taquile people are renowned for their hand weavings textiles and clothing. After a wonderful culture experience, we return by boat to Puno and transfer to your hotel.

In the morning we will say farewell to Puno with a transfer to Juliaca. On route visit the Sillustani pre-Inca cemetery, with tower like structured tombs located on the shores of Lake Umayo. These chullpas were built in 13th and 14th Century to house the Aymara nobles during the pre-Inca and Inca period. The Incas conquered them in the 15th century. Arrive in the airport and connect to your flight to Lima.
